New to strategic planning or looking for tips on how to make the most of your annual planning sessions?
 
Join CCEC on Thursday, October 27th at 1:00 p.m. ET when we will have the opportunity to hear about the Strategic Planning Toolkit developed by the BC Chamber of Commerce, in partnership with Chamber member Wazuku Advisory Group.  In this session, you’ll learn about:
 

  • Critical elements of a strategic plan;
  • How to guide your chamber through a strategic planning process, using the Strategic Planning Toolkit; and
  • How to gain buy-in and commitment around implementing your chamber’s strategic plan.
 
Our presenter, Kirsten Avison, is an Associate and key member of the strategic advisory team at Wazuku Advisory Group in Vancouver, BC. She is known for her skill in in facilitating meetings that foster reflection and consensus building. Kirsten is an advocate of the chamber of commerce movement and believes that strong chambers help to build strong economies.
 
She will be joined by George Gates, President of the Chemainus BC Chamber of Commerce, who will speak first-hand about their experience using the toolkit and how it has worked for their Chamber.
