Join the conversation  on Tuesday, February 28^th when the CCEC Advocacy Peer Network will be discussing ideas on how to revitalize your policy/advocacy committee structure.
Nancy Conrad, Senior Vice-President-Policy with the Halifax  Chamber of Commerce will share Halifax’s recent experience revamping and streamlining their policy committees down to two task forces to align with their strategic plan – hear about the process they went through, their reasons for doing it and the benefits.
We’ll also hear from Sandra Dueck, Policy Analyst/Communications Specialist at the Greater Peterborough Chamber of Commerce and CCEC’s 2016 Staff Person of the Year who will share best practices from her Chamber.
 
Then it’s your turn – to share your best practices - what’s working and what isn’t when it comes to policy/advocacy committees – ask questions - and perhaps glean a few new ideas to take back to your Chamber.
 
Open to all staff involved in advocacy and policy, the CCEC Advocacy Peer Network provides an opportunity for you to connect with your peers, share best practices and discuss burning issues.
