Confident Communication: Public Speaking for Chamber Leaders

Strong communication is a leadership skill — and it can be learned. In this two-part, interactive workshop, Acacia Pangilinan, with the Kamloops & Merritt Chambers of Commerce, helps Chamber leaders build confidence, clarity, and presence when speaking in any setting.

Participants will learn proven techniques to manage nerves, strengthen body language, and deliver clear, engaging messages both in person and online. You’ll develop a concise, authentic elevator pitch that clearly communicates who you are, what your Chamber does, and why it matters — and you’ll practice delivering it with confidence.

The series culminates in a hands-on session where participants refine their pitches, receive constructive feedback, and leave with a polished message they can immediately use in networking, advocacy meetings, media interviews, and stakeholder conversations.
